Our Story:

The idea for IMGCentury.com came from the problems with most online image compressors. These problems include limited compression options, no control over image quality, a 25MB upload limit, and the risk of uploading sensitive images to external servers, which affects privacy.

I aimed to address all these drawbacks. I developed algorithms, identified the right technologies, and started working on IMGCentury in 2022, finally launching it in September 2023.

Core Benefits:

• No images are uploaded to the server.
• You can compress up to 2GB of images in one go.
• Single image files up to 500MB can be compressed.
• All compressed images can be downloaded as a single zip file or individually.
• Compression quality can be adjusted in two ways: by ratio and by size.

Using Ratio: Adjust the compression level using a slider, which determines the output quality of the image. By default, the slider value is set to 80%.

Using Size: Precisely compress the input image to your defined size. By default, the size value is set to 90KB, ensuring the compressed image size does not exceed 90KB.
